What is right for the employee must now be right for the business. If anything, the pandemic has taught us that the two cannot exist separately anymore. As leaders, we should be focused on:

  • Ensuring that employees are healthy and safe in the workplace. This means staying apprised of the latest safety guidelines and providing adequate supplies and training.
  • Connecting with employees. As many of us continue to work from home, it is important to continue to proactively reach out to employees. Take time to make personal connections with each person and ensure they understand how their work is connecting to the mission and success of the organization.

To help leaders and employers stay on top of safety in the workplace, we at ThinkHR & Mammoth HR continue to provide resources in our COVID-19 Crisis Response Center.
